⁣tok. started in 2021 during the pandemic as a pop-up restaurant in Hoi An. Short for Take Over Kitchen, tok. was born from a simple idea: bring some life back into the community, support local farmers and keep good food on the table during a tough time for local businesses.

It started in an abandoned restaurant in An Bang, borrowed furniture and a menu built around fresh local market ingredients. Six months later, we knew we had something special.

Today, tok. has found a permanent home among the rice paddies of Hoi An, serving modern fusion cuisine made with quality local ingredients, fresh produce from our own organic vegetable garden, and ingredients sourced from local farmers and fishermen.

While our home has changed, our approach hasn't. We're here for good food, good people and a relaxed dining experience that's a little different from the usual.
