where it all began…

⁣We started back in 2021 during the pandemic as a pop up restaurant, tok. (which stands for take over kitchen) was created to add some life back into the community and support local farmers during a tough time for business.

Three friends rented a small abandoned restaurant in An Bang, borrowed furniture from friends and threw together a delicious menu using local market ingredients. 

After 6 months of operations we knew we had something special and couldn’t imagine Hoi An without tok. 

Now permanently located in the most epic location, surrounded by rice fields  and growing our own organic vegetables on site, we are continuing our mission to feed the community and visitors with delicious food whilst supporting local farmers and fisherman in the process.
